Memphis, aka Munchkin or Little One, is a small tortoiseshell with a muted stripe down her nose. Little cream toes brighten her right-side paws only, front and back. And a little grey tips her tail.
Memphis was the most skittish of her litter but warms up to a quiet voice and calm demeanor. She is friendly towards other kittens, more of a follower, but will now stand her ground even though she is smaller. She easily entertains herself. She loves small foil balls and dangling yarn toys. Her favorite toy is a small felt mouse.
When meeting a dog, she'll hiss and pull back but will quickly settle down if the dog doesn't react or charge.
Let her come to you as she will duck away from a lunging hand and run away. But quiet, a couple pats on the bed or chair, and an extended hand with a cupped palm down, plus a "Here, kitty, kitty" will bring her over to rub against your hand. She loves a good chin or head rub and a stroke from the top of her head all the way back through the tip of the tail. She will curl up on your chest or under your chin.
Your heart will melt when the purring starts.
