Bengal / Tabby / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : Medium Shorthaired spotted tabby - Bengal mix?
This lovely friendly girl needs a new home. One of her human family members has very severe allergies and it is a health risk to be around her now. She is very loving to people and her adoptive sister Ebi and should get along fine in a home with another cat or cat-friendly dog(s). She is only 5 years old, but she qualifies for our adult cat discount - be sure to ask about it. Her owners think she may be part Bengal cat since she has distinct spots on her sides and has short dappled tan fur, but aren't sure since they rescued her when she was a kitten. She loves to be petted and brushed and is very affectionate, arching her back for more stroking. She hisses and growls a bit but it seems to be all grumble, but no bite - maybe it's the Bengal spirit coming out? It would be great if she and her adoptive sister Ebi could be adopted together, but she could also be adopted by herself. She will come to you like a puppy when you pat your leg, then put her front paws on your leg and request a through chin scratch. She also follows her CCR foster mom around the house like a little dog. She will roll over for a gentle belly rub, but prefers any lap sitting to be HER idea! She will be probably shown for adoption at the Petsmart in Oxnard and the PETCO in Ventura, but please call us for more information if you are interested in meeting this beautiful girl. Our adoptions are held on many Saturdays & Sundays from 11 a. m. to around 4-5 p.m. Please call Georgetta at 805-647-7173 for more information about where she will be shown for adoption, or if you have any questions.
