P. Venkman, Ray S. Egon, and Gray Lady were part of a litter of 7 kittens born in the front yard of a Port Hueneme home.  When they were only a day or two old, two neighborhood pitbulls attacked the momcat and her kittens.

Momcat defended her kittens fiercely and drove away the dogs, but not before Gray Lady was stepped on by one of the attacking dogs.  She sustained a very large internal injury for such a tiny kitten and when she came into foster care, the hernia resulting from the injury was the size of a plum – on a 2 week old kitten.  She is a courageous little girl and even though she had surgery for the hernia at 3 weeks of age and will need another operation, she never gave up and is very active and keeps up with her 3 brothers and the other foster kittens.  She will not be shown for adoption until after her surgery, but please call 805-647-7173 if you are interested in adopting her or one of her brothers.

She and her gray and white tabby brothers are all very active, friendly and playful kittens who love to play together, and with toys, then climb up on a warm lap for a nap.

Egon has been adopted, but his brothers are still available.  Please think about becoming a sponsor for Gray Lady.  She will have her hernia repair and spay surgery in Decenber, but her surgery will cost over $300.

Please come and visit The Ghostbuster team and their foster siblings at the Camarillo adoption at the PETCO on Saturday from about noon to 4 p.m. and Sunday from noon-5 p.m.
If you have any questions about these kittens, please contact Georgetta at editor@CatsCradleRescue.org or 805-647-7173.
