Denahee (black and white) and his calico sister Bahaia were born May 1, 2010 in a wet cardboard box in a driveway of a home in Santa Paula. The mother cat abandoned them immediately and never returned to care for them. The nice ladies who found them rushed them to a local vet for care then worked round the clock to feed and keep them warm until they could contact Cats Cradle Rescue for assistance. Originally the lady who cared for them planned to adopt them, but it proved to be impossible so she sadly asked us to find them good homes. (Little sister (calico) has had cerebular hyperplasia from birth so she is very smart, but a bit wobbly and odd in her movements. This disability is not contagious, but she has been slower to grow so she isn't available for adoption yet.) If you have questions, please contact Georgetta at 805-647-7173 or email editor@CatsCradleRescue.org. More about DenaheeGood with Cats Cats Cradle Rescue animals are spayed or neutered and have received at least one vaccination before they are placed up for adoption. Each animal lives in a foster home as part of the family. Cats Cradle Rescue requires an adoption application and contract with each animal. Our adoption fee covers Feline Leukemia and Feline Immuno Virus testing, first year's shots, spay/neuter and microchip. We also send you home with a collar, CCR tag and starter food. |
