Chicken is a gentle soul, a sweet and shy girl, she would do well in a quiet home with adults only, or older kids as gentle as she is. Chicken loves to play with her toys, and also loves to play with her brother Ham. When she's not playing you can find her cuddled up and ready for some affection from her foster family.

Chicken came into CCR already about 8 weeks old, trapped with her three siblings at an unsafe site where they couldn't be returned. Luckily for Chicken and her family, the trapper knew just who to call when she realized they weren't exactly feral!

From there, the experts at Cats Cradle took over. Chicken & brother Ham were sent to one foster home and their two siblings to another, so they could learn to bond with people. All CCR cats and kittens receive their vaccinations, a microchip registered to the new owner, collar & tag, starter bag of food, and their sterilization. In addition, we test for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).  All of our animals are 8 weeks or older when they are shown for adoptions, all of our felines must be spayed /neutered before we place them in new homes and they must be 8 weeks old and 2 pounds to have their surgeries.

Cats Cradle Rescue animals are spayed or neutered and have received at least one vaccination before they are placed up for adoption.  Each animal lives in a foster home as part of the family.

Cats Cradle Rescue requires an adoption application and contract with each animal.  Our adoption fee covers Feline Leukemia and Feline Immuno Virus testing, first year's shots, spay/neuter and microchip.  We also send you home with a collar, CCR tag and starter food.
