Hello!  I am "Curious"!  That's my name, and it also perfectly describes my feelings now, wondering when I can have a person to love again!  That is what I want so much! 

You see, I had a very loving daddy who took great care of me, socialized me beautifully, and taught me perfect manners.  I lived with him my whole life and we were very happy together.  But then my daddy fell last year and has been in and out of hospitals and nursing homes.  He was gone for months and came home for a few weeks and then was gone again.

I know he did his best to love me and when he was home for 5 whole days last month we had the best time!  I loved him so much, he would hold me and cry.  This time though, he is not coming home again.  They told me that he went to heaven.

I have no other family to go to.  Life feels hopeless right now.  No dad, no  home, and I don't want to go to heaven yet.

I am a very sweet cat with an extra loving, gentle, soothing and easy-going personality.  My favorite?  Your lap!!  I love sitting and snuggling on laps!  I am there before you even have a lap to sit on!

I am a 12 year old Russian Blue (people say I am sparkling gorgeous!).  I have short and very soft fur that twinkles (you will love petting me!)  I am adorably friendly and affectionate, quiet, well-behaved and perfect to get cozy and cuddle with! 

I am an indoor-only cat and have perfect litter box habits.  I am fine with nice dogs -- I lived happily with a dog brother!  (He was adopted by a nice person right after our dad died.)  I have also lived with cats and like them too!

I am neutered, my vaccinations are up to date, and I have been tested FeLV/FIV negative!  I  have not had any health issues.  In fact, I just got checked by the veterinarian and all I needed was to get my teeth cleaned, which a nice person just had done for me -- so I am ready to adopt! 

Won't you please find a spot in your heart and house for me, so I can feel loved again and not be afraid of what tomorrow brings.  I will give you so much love, purrs and gentle sweetness in return!  I promise to be good and I am so friendly that I know I will love you and snuggle with you (especially if you happen to have a lap!!!)

Cats Cradle Rescue animals are spayed or neutered and have received at least one vaccination before they are placed up for adoption.  Each animal lives in a foster home as part of the family.

Cats Cradle Rescue requires an adoption application and contract with each animal.  Our adoption fee covers Feline Leukemia and Feline Immuno Virus testing, first year's shots, spay/neuter and microchip.  We also send you home with a collar, CCR tag and starter food.
