American Shorthair / Tabby / Mixed (short coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Adult : : Medium Playful young male cat
This kitten was rescued as a tiny kitten with his 2 siblings in Saticoy when they were only a about 3 weeks old (DOB estimated to be 3-10-12). They were all very skinny and dehydrated when found; we don't know what happened to momcat. A CCR volunteer did some critical care, then bottlefed the litter until they were old enough to be weaned, then fixed and shown for adoption. Both of Taffy's sisters have found homes, but Taffy just hasn't found the right family to take him home and love him.
He is a very loving and playful kitty at his foster home, but he hates coming to our adoptions at PETCO... he has been there so many times in his short life, He is just tired of the same old routine of sitting in a cage every weekend! He is an awesome cat at home, but doesn't show his true personality during adoptions.
Taffy is a cat who wants to be near you, but who doesn't really like being picked up and carried around. He likes to take a nap on you lap, but it has to be HIS idea! He is a bit of a talker and will usually answer when you talk to him. He is very adventurous and likes to climb for a better view of what is going on around him. He LOVES LOVES LOVES to play with toys and his laser light spot. He can jump over 3 feet high and do flips to follow flying toys!
Taffy will be shown for adoption at the Ventura PETCO from 11 a.m to 4 p.m. most Saturdays and Sundays. Please call Georgetta at 805 647-7173 for more information.
