Tabby / American Shorthair (short coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Adult : : Medium FANTASTIC PERSONALITY!
Captain craves company and belly rubs! He is gorgeous, smart and very loving. He loves interacting with his people, and has a gentle, peaceful nature. He has a delightfully loud purr, especially when you are petting him or rubbing his belly. He also happily purrs for ear rubs and head kisses. He gives you kisses too -- right on the lips if you let him! When you talk to him, he responds by speaking to you in very cute chirps rather than meows. He likes relaxing in his cat tree and hanging out in its hammock. He is a curious boy, and will often run to the window to see what the noise is all about. Captain also loves to play -- he has lots of fun romping with a red dot toy (see his video below!), and chasing a ball, string and catnip toys. He likes it best if you play with him! Captain lived with a family since he was a kitten, but his person’s work changed and required too much travel, so Captain got adopted to a new person. Captain made himself right at home from the first day. But a cat who already lived at the new home would not accept Captain. Captain is a LOVER NOT A FIGHTER! He keeps trying to befriend the other cat, but after three months, the other cat will not stop harshly picking on Captain. So Captain needs another new home, where he can live in peace with a person or family who love him! Captain is very healthy and strong. He is a gorgeous 10 year old male who acts like a kitten. He has red Tabby points and patches on bright white with a perfect red ringtail and brilliant green eyes. All of his medical records are available. He is neutered, fully vaccinated and tested FeLV negative. He is fastidious about using his litter box. Captain will love a home with someone who will pet him, rub his belly, play with him and love him. He is good with other cats. He is located in Ventura, but he can be driven outside of the area for you to meet him. This is a courtesy listing.
