Domestic Long Hair / Tortoiseshell / Mixed (long coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Senior : : Medium Contact Scarlet's Caretaker/Foster Directly: Georgetta (aubrick@hotmail.com) Sweet Shy Senior Tortie needs a new home
Scarlet and her housemate Georgie Girl arrived at Cats Cradle the last week in August and are still adapting to their new surroundings. Scarlet is more shy than outgoing Georgie Girl, but is very sweet. We don't know much about their personalities yet, but they both love attention. They are on special prescription diets and we do have copies of comprehensive vet records since both had excellent care. Both are senior cats looking for a new home after their owner passed away earlier this year. Scarlet was born March 15, 2004 but is in good health for her age. They were moved twice in the last 6 months, first at a local vet's boarding kennels, then to the love-a-pet enclosures at the Thousands Oaks Petsmart. The rescue group working with them scanned them for a microchip and discovered that Scarlet had been adopted from Cats Cradle Rescue as a kitten 14 years ago! Cats Cradle was contacted and we agreed to accept both cats into our Adoption Center adoption program next door to the Cats Cradle Rescue Thrift Store at 1954 E. Main Street in Ventura (corner of Main and Santa Cruz) Adoption application is required and can be completed online at www.CatsCradleRescue.org.
Cats Cradle Rescue animals are spayed or neutered and have received at least one vaccination before they are placed up for adoption. Each animal lives in a foster home as part of the family. Cats Cradle Rescue requires an adoption application and contract with each animal. Our adoption fee covers Feline Leukemia and Feline Immuno Virus testing, first year's shots, spay/neuter and microchip. We also send you home with a collar, CCR tag and starter food. |
